That's not Frank Sinatra you sometimes hear
singing at local clubs or social
events. While some might swear it was "Ole Blue
Eyes", the voice actually belongs
to This Talented Frank Sinatra of Malden,
Massachusetts.
With songs like "New York, New York", "My
Funny Valentine," and
"Fly Me to the Moon", George has performed at
nightclubs and restaurants all
over the Greater Boston area.
He has appeared as the featured vocalist with
the ship's trio aboard the
Norwegian cruiser the S.S. Vistafroid. When he
sang at Rodney Dangerfield's
in New York, he was warmly received and
encouraged by the proprietor,
who actually gave him a lot of respect.
Subsequently, he sang with the Al Vega Trio,
appearing at the Parker House,
the Copley Mariott and the Ritz-Carlton.
This talented crooner also sang with a number
of Boston big bands,
broadening his repertoire to include popular
tunes of the '30s
and '40s.
He has been singing since day one--in fact,
family legend has it that
when the doctor gave him his first slap on the
butt, he didn't cry,
-- he hit a B flat.!!!
