Sometime around 1998, everywhere he went, he
began hearing "Do you know you
look like Ricky Martin?" from almost everyone
he met.
One week after his first stage appearance, he
was cast as Ricky Martin in the 9th
Annual Bill and Ted's Halloween Adventure at
Universal Studios Florida.
The show was seen by over 200,000 people
during the month of October and
was rated the #1 show in all 10 years of
Universal's Halloween
Horror Nights.
Jumping right into the impersonator game, he
began performing nationwide
for radio stations, nightclubs, and conventions.
As the real Ricky’s fame grew,
his performances increased and he is now in
demand for more and more
appearances. Sometimes he doesn’t even have to
perform, simply appearing at
special events where he shakes hands and greets
attendees as the famous Latin s
ensation. His likeness to the real Ricky causes
an immediate turning of heads and
pointing of fingers: "Is that…Ric…? No, it’s not
the real Ricky, but the next best thin
g to him. He recently was the top finalist in the
Ricky Look-a-Like contest and
featured on the front page of the Orlando
Sentinel Living section. He has also
won various look-a-like contests including the
closest dead ringer from over 25
candidates at Club
Rio in Las Vegas.
He continues to study and keep up with the
real Ricky.
To this day, he still gets asked “Are you Ricky
Martin?” He is truly livin' his
la vida loca!
