Since 1990, They have been delighting audiences of all ages and interests with totally improvised spoofs of every style from opera to folk ballads, Shakespeare to Soaps. Every scene, melody and lyric they perform is created, on the spot, from audience suggestion.
They have been featured at such distinguished venues as the Marquee Lounge, the Smithsonian, the Kennedy Center, the Library of Congress, the Grand Casino Hotel in Biloxi, MS, the JW Marriott in Chicago, the Palm Springs, California Convention Center and a few places they can only describe as 'scary.'
In '97 & '99 they won the DC chapter of the International Special Event Society's ISES Award for Best Entertainment Production and in '99 they won the Esprit, the international version of that award.
The cast, which describes itself as "one big, dysfunctional family" is made up of Republicans and Democrats, hunters and vegetarians, and collectively celebrates Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwaanza. Most of the original members are still with the troupe which has expanded to include over a dozen performers.
