













Her sultry style and grace has captivated audiences
of all ages and
cultures. For over 20 years, her musical endeavors
have centered
in the Rhythm and Blues, Gospel, and Jazz vein. As
an alumni of the
High School of Music and Art, where she was trained
in classical music,
and other various musical styles, She has taken her
diverse vocal talents
to nightclubs and recording studios throughout the
New York City
area where she previously lived. She has performed
with various Jazz
bands and Swing Orchestras in renowned locations
such as The Helmsley
Palace and The RainbowRoom. She has opened for
several recording
artists such as Ray, Goodman and Brown, and Cuba
Gooding, Sr. at
Sweetwater’s in New York. In 1991, she made her
recording debut with
French producer, Adrien Dupuy on a
Haitian/Caribbean album distributed in Paris and
abroad.
She performs with a variety of groups and
show bands for numerous
parties and conventions at the Disney resorts,
convention centers,
and hotel ballrooms. She has sung with Sister Soul, a
group commemorating
the divas of soul, in which they performed for 94.5FM
functions,
and have opened for the Delphonics at the
Kissimmee Rhythm and
Blues Festival. She has also performed with the
Motown Moments at
The Motown Café at Universal Citiwalk, in an
interactive show that
exposed her dance as well as vocal talents. She has
been labeled “a
class act” in venues such as Peter Scott’s, and has
also headlined at
The Jazz Company at Pleasure Island, and Gina’s On
The Water.
She appeared on numerous occasions with a jazz
trio at The Westin
Grand Bohemian. She has performed for the Blues
Schoolhouse show
at The House of Blues, and with an African/Pop band
called Wassalou at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. She has performed for
two seasons with a
touring cast throughout Florida in the Broadway
musical “Smokey
Joe’s Café”. Throughout her career, she has been
on numerous television
spots including a FOX news profile, as well as The
Tonight Show with
Jay Leno, which she appeared as Whitney Houston.
Aside from her vocal talents, she has also
unveiled her creativity
and self-expression in the world of dance. She
studied ballet, tap, modern,
and jazz dance with dedicated instructors and has
performed in numerous
productions at the George Gershwin Theater, and
Avery Fisher Hall,
Lincoln Center in New York. She believes that it was
dance that enabled
her to realize the hidden potential that is in all of us,
therefore opening her
eyes to the love of song, and to creativity in all forms
of ART.
With a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Television
Production from
Hunter College, New York City, New York, she takes
her creative
vision and produces a “show experience” for her
audiences.
She incorporates a Whitney Houston Legends
impersonation act from
dialogue to song into her show, and has produced a
fully
choreographed show with dancers “Aretha Through
The Ages”,
where she performs as Aretha Franklin and takes
you on a soulful
journey through the decades. All around, She is an
interactive
entertainer who strongly believes in performing with
the people
and not for the people. – “Performing is a
conversation with
the audience;…we all communicate, we all get
involved.”
