a “World Citizen.” This was expressed

in his music and life style. John’s

music crossed all barriers; including,

cultural, economical, geographical

and political. Utilizing his world

vision, he brought to light many

important issues and causes that

benefit our world through powerful

words with actions of peace and

harmony. John’s vision was to make

this world a better place for our

children and for future generations.

He championed worthy causes with

solid and committed enthusiasm

which touched all that attended his

concerts and purchased his

recordings.

 

John Denver’s spirit, enthusiasm, zest

for life, and concern for the world

made him a great fan and admirer. All

this has inspired him to make a small

contribution to further John Denver’s

legacy by performing tribute concerts.

 

In a humble home, on a country road

in Santa Rosa, California, he was born.

He has a remarkable resemblance to

John Denver. Music has always been

an important part of his life from

grade school to the present. He is a

multi-talented musician and vocalist

performing in many choirs, bands a

nd orchestras throughout his life. He

studied music at San Jose State

University and earned a Bachelor of

Arts Degree.

 

In 1976, he started his professional

entertainment career. He has

performed over forty different

character roles in live performances

and television. In addition to

entertaining hundreds of thousands of

people from across the world, he has

entertained many super stars such as:

Rolling Stones, Clint Eastwood, BB

King, Blues Traveler, Chuck

Mangione, Neil Young, Smashing

Pumpkins, ZZ Top and Ray Charles.

 

He has been referred to as a “modern

day renaissance man.” He has been

recognized for his many talents as a

songwriter, poet, composer, musician,

entertainer and actor. Steve has

always been close to nature and

inspired by the human spirit. He is

dedicated to promoting the belief that

the world can be a better place if we all

do our small part. He is able to use

gentle; yet, powerful and creative

inspiration to be a catalyst for those

around him both as a teacher and a

student. This is communicated in

his music, poetry, stories and live

performances.
