As a, vocalist and guitarist, became interested in entertaining at an early age.
Raised in Brooklyn, his mother began taking him on the subway to Radio City Music Hall when he was as young as 10. He and his mother would arrive early in order to sit in the front row and they enjoyed many of the singers and dancers of that era.
